Hole
13

The thirteenth from the medal tee, is a very challenging 488
yard par 5, and is stroke index 12. The drive is over the gorse bush directly in front
of the tee and the landing area is normally short of the grass bunkers on the
fairway. The second shot is blind and is normally at or around the marker pole.
The landing area for the second shot is very narrow and in the summer deep
rough can be found on both sides. The third shot into the green is normally a
short iron, and players able to hold this green have done very well. The green is
protected at the entrance by 2 deep gullies and to the rear by another steep
gully.
