Hole
5

The fifth from the white measures 353 yards and is stroke index 5. This hole
normally plays downwind and has quite a generous stroke index
considering its length. A drive too long and left will end up in severe danger
in the gorse which is infested with rabbit burrows and balls are rarely
recovered. Drives pushed right land on the camber of the fourth fairway and run
off farther right and this leaves a blind shot in to the green. The long green is
protected by a high ridge to the left and rear and a bunker to the right. Shots
into the green pulled left will end up in a quarry and leave a very difficult
recovery shot.
