Hole
7

The seventh is a great challenge of golf which normally plays into the wind
and plays every inch of its 409 yards. This hole is stroke index 1 and
thoroughly deserves the title of the hardest hole on the course. The drive from
the white tee is blind and the line is the stone outbuilding in the near
distance. A good drive will land on the down-slope of the fairway and if you are
lucky will run forward a few extra yards. The shot into the green is very
deceiving, therefore don't take too much notice of the yardage markers as its all carry
into a very difficult green. No bunkers on this green, only light rough to the
right and a deep gully to the left and rear. Please make sure the road in front
of the green is free from walkers, bikes and horses before playing into the
green.
